The 15 minute bus ride will take passengers to Quonset, where they will board the boat for a 90-minute narrated cruise of Narragansett Bay, including views of Newport and the many other towns and islands in the bay that make up much of the coast of Rhode Island.
Archivist at the Studebaker National Museum and columnist for Turning Wheels, Andy Beckman will talk about the history of the company, Studebaker family, and the cars and trucks they built for us to drive and enjoy.
Seen it all? Read it all? Know everything about Studebakers? Maybe not! Richard Quinn will have some insights on pre-WWII Studebakers that you just might not know about.
While the bus takes the 45 minutes to drive to Newport, you'll go over two bridges and see Jamestown and other islands and towns in Narragansett Bay. The bus will tour Newport on its way to the mansions. You will have a choice of touring one of four mansions: The Breakers, Marble House, The Elms, or Rosecliff. You will have an opportunity for lunch and shopping on your own in downtown Newport, and then bus will take you to the Audrain Automobile Museum, open only a couple of years ago and owned by the Preservation Society of Newport.
This is an Antique Studebaker Drivers Club tour, but SDC members are welcome to attend. You MUST register for the ASC Meet to attend this tour. Click here to download the ASC registration form.

Any time you swap an engine or a transmission type in a Studebaker, you will probably have to properly align the bell housing with the center of the crankshaft. Mike will cover the tools and techniques for getting it right.
The Studebaker factory and a number of independent racing teams were active in the Indianapolis 500 races – and at other tracks – in the 1920s and 1930s. The cars, engines, and drivers will be presented, as well as the current status of many of these cars. Additionally, the construction of a replica car will be discussed by Gary Ash.
If you are planning to be a judge in Warwick or just thinking about volunteering, chief judge Ed Smith will review what's involved, how to look at both condition and authenticity of cars and trucks, and cover the expectations of car owners in the judging process. This year, a number of significant changes are taking place in the flow of cars through judging and electronic scoring is being introduced.
A blend of modern and classic Hot Wheels accessories and cars on a track and in a working display. Drag racing on a 20 foot dual lane BLU-TRACK! Rolling miniature cars through 3 amazing Hot Wheels Runs. For children 3 and up, with parental supervision, and adults who want to have fun with Hot Wheels.
A panel of esteemed Studebaker technical experts will discuss common issues with cars and trucks. They will take your questions about specific problems or challenges with your vehicles.
